I’m flew in for an event (2/28-3/2) I had a different hotel booked. However, I didn’t like the location and searched for a hotel closer to my event. I was unsure if I should book it online 3rd party or talk directly to the front desk. I explained that and the clerk worked out an acceptable deal. It’s right off of highway and it’s easy to go in either direction. Big TV, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. I ventured out on foot and had dinner at the Waffle House. Next door is a Pilot gas and truck stop/subway where I was able to get fruit and water. They have a simple continental breakfast (very basic). There’s also a pizza and Arby’s nearby. And, even though the highway is close and a train yard across the street, I heard nothing apart from a guest or two coming and going, so, very quiet IMO. Other guests were also cordial and friendly. I also ventured out to the beaches and a yoga studio in Jacksonville. They were about 34 mins away, but easy to find and lots to do there. I would recommend as a safe and budget friendly option if you’re passing through.
The room was pretty decent. Very spacious. The tv was pretty much impossible to change channel from the bed. A fan would be a premium addition. The service made up for the room lacking, they went above to make our stay enjoyable. Located conveniently to the interstate, gas stations and a Waffle House
I've stayed in a red roof before that was not well kept and so was nervous to stay. This red roof is the NICEST motel I've ever been in. It's clean, comfortable, peaceful and amazing service! So thankful! Definitely would stay again and highly recommend it.
Clean rooms, friendly check in, beds are a full size instead of queen. But still enjoyed the stay.
We made a last-minute stop after a long day of driving and were grateful to get one of the last two rooms. Staff was wonderful, the room was spotless and quiet, dog-friendly, and they offer free breakfast we sadly didn’t have time to enjoy. The location is also super convenient with restaurants close by. Great stay when we needed it!
Great rooms that look to have been updated within the past couple years. Friendly pricing and good location. Nice continental breakfast as well. No bugs. Good customer service. The AC was giving out a bit of a musty smell, so that was one slight negative, and also the bathroom shower could use some help.
Been stopping here for years on way south. Rooms have been updated, beds are fine, easy access to 301 and I-10. The bathrooms could use some updating but the room was clean And they allow pets Some fast food places around and service stations Good place for a stopover night
After seeing a small sign on I 10 just before 301, for a Red Roof Inn, I stopped, and was pleasantly surprised. The owners were kind and helpful, the room was remodeled, very clean, and the large new Smart TV was a big plus. I appreciated the lighting, and plenty of electrical plugs for my electronics. I felt like I had found an oasis!
